Not to brag about my work, but I'm kinda proud of these photos, come and check them out. It's the "High Fashion" feature of the new GO magazine; let me know what you think.

Priceline.com rocks. I got a 3 star hotel (the highest available in Tulsa on this site) for $50/night. The best rate I can find on the net is $99. Here is the hotel. It let me pick a region of town and only took like 30 seconds to give me the accept on my price and the name on the hotel. The only negative is you are committed to purchase if it does the search and finds something for your price. I suggest low ball them and work your way up until it finds something. You can purchase trip cancellation insurance if you want too. |

Speaking of. My work friends and I have been discussing fuel from coal. The CEO of JetBlue was on the radio the other day talking about coal. I wish I could find the right article. Here are some facts. Airlines are losing money. When they lose money, they don't have to pay taxes. Neeleman wants to build (to start) 70 coal plants to supply the US with fuel. Fuel from coal would only cost about $35 a barrel. The problem is that no one wants to invest in it with the risk of oil dropping below $35 a barrel. So he's asking the government to front the money, and to compensate for low oil prices. It's a win-win situation. If people aren't flying (high prices), airlines aren't making money. If they don't make money, the government doesn't make money. If we go fuel, gas is cheaper, and we make money, AND we are self sufficient. |

It ended up putting us smack dab in the middle of the Fourth Ward -- one of the worst parts of Houston -- after dark. Someone attempted to carjack us and fired shots at our car.
