I've given this a lot of thought. Beer is a good choice for pacing yourself at gatherings and tastes great. There are many varieties that are fun to taste and critique. Liquor also has vast varieties of flavors to try, but admittedly I'm not as much of a connoisseur of it to be able to tell you which Gins and Rums are the best. I subscribe to the "you get what you pay for" philosophy with liquor. This is a hard choice you see.I think I'm going to go with Liquour. I'll admit I like to get a little buzz when I'm drinking and these days I just don't feel like pounding down 6 beers to get there as often. A simple screwdriver or whiskey sour does the trick a little easier. Plus, there is still a frontier to explore. Damn you Quade. Grey Goose Vodka Tonic or Cabo Wabo Margarita |
