Cool. Ok. We'll just do without ReadyBoost.

ReadyBoost is just a file caching system -- some Flash drives won't work with it (mine doesn't). I tried it on an external hard drive (really, an internal drive in a reusable case with USB) and it "worked" (as in no errors). But I didn't see any speed changes.

What's funny is that I wasn't on it 'all night'. It was during the day and I spent it speeding up her laptop. Turned off Aero, disabled programs, etc. Now you can have 2 webpages open and run Emule at the same time. Speaking of...

I tried to use the ReadyBoost function of Vista but it said that the flash drive I was using wasn't compatable (or something similar). Is there a windows setting that I need to change? Some kind of USB security? Or can the drive really not work?

When you finally have a moment on the computer, cause someone's been on it all night and probably all day at work, and they come in and look over your shoulder and say crap like, "hey click on that" or, "hey go here real quick."

AND

When someone calls you up during the day to see what's going on and then doesn't say anything. Like, "hey, what's going on" so you tell them what's up and there's nothin' but crickets on the other end, with an occasional "uh-huh".

Episode III wasn't so bad...that is if you fast forward thru the scenes with Anikin and Padme together. I don't mean that as being opposed to lovey dovey moments its just it was badly written dialogue. It was like hearing a new couple on the phone

Him: I love you
Her: I love you more
Him: No I love you more
Her: Nooooo I love you more
Him: Noooooooo I love you more

You get the picture

You don't buy SW for a 6 year old. You buy Thomas the Train, or Jojo's Circus for a 6 year old. SW is a FAMILY movie. If it were me, I would have shopped around. I would NEVER buy fullscreen. Even for Jojo Circus (if it were in widescreen format in the first place).

Ok, this is for our six year old who doesn't give a crap whether or not you can see the edge of that one spaceship here or there.
Good grief!!
I also did not buy them new, I got them used, and had really no choice because that's all they had. Had I of had the choice, I would have gotten widescreen. Whatever

Oh yeah, i hate that too. And when you're watching it together for the first time, even, and they go "who's that guy?" when the movie starts.

I have two, so far.

#1--For those with kid experience will know what I am talking about, when your kid is REALLY REALLY tired and cranky and WILL NOT go to sleep @ naptime, therefore making them COMPLETELY INSANE later that evening when they are too tired to stand even themselves.

#2--When you are watching a movie, whether you have seen it before or not, and someone comes in and sits down to watch it with you then starts asking you these questions about who the characters are or what the story is and so on. Sometimes the questions get REALLY out there, for instance, say a character is walking across the street, the question this person would ask would be something like, "what is the name of that street" or "what is that person thinking while she's walking" ARGHHHHHHH

People who call and leave you a message to call them, and then when you try to call them back, they are either on the phone and are on it for at least an hour, or they are online for at least an hour and don't realize that I can't call them back with them on the internet. (phone modem...yeah. They still exist)

People that e-mail you, then call you, and leave a voice mail message urging you to call them back to let you know if you got their e-mail or not.
