No, it's something on Pooh's end... Stupid Jerk. nah, j/k... When I upgraded, PHP started using a default php.ini for PHP 5, instead of my old one. so, I just allocated additional memory for PHP to run scripts in the htaccess file, and voila! Fixed. (that error message was PHP running out of RAM, which was only set to a measly 8MB.) Thanks for pointing that one out Star. |

Looks like there is actually 2 issues going on:1) the file not being writeable is dealing with the avatar. if you don't upload one, then it can't write it. it's safe to ignore here. (i'll eventually fix it, didn't know that was going on). 2) in order to keep the database from being corrupted in weird circumstances, i have some checks in place when you're editing your account -- if the field is null, then do nothing. in this case, you're trying to nullify it, and it's not accepting it. for now, if you're just trying to remove personal data, put a space there for the short term. i'll fix the actual problem soon for the long term. |

Yeah, don't edit your account. But for real, I had that happen to me too, but had something to do with the image I was trying to use... I ended up just uploading the image via the upload image thing.... This probably wont help you, I just like reading my own writting.... |

Question: I attempted to edit my account earlier today and it said that it was not writable. I clicked save and then went to check and it was still the same. Any suggestions?
