I've got my laptop bonded with my Razr, but all I can really do so far is mess with the files (and I could have done that connected throught my USB cable and P2K, and at least that way I can charge it from the laptop). Have you guys seen any cool Bluetooth software; like, something that'll show me who's calling (I've seen this for the Mac, but not XP)?

After fully looking at the article, I see that they have XP prices too. Are the prices we are seeing in the screen shot Canadian, or American?

Well, Windows XP Home is like $99, and a little cheaper than that when it's OEM. And I think the Pro edition OEM was $129 or something, and retail Pro is something like $229. But that's a lot more than the sub-$100 prices previous versions were.

I haven't ever bought Windows before, but seeing those prices, I can't help but think that it is pretty damn cheap. Am I wrong?

Can someone do me a huge favor?
I'm looking for a strategy guide for Super Mario World 2 (Yoshi's Island).
I need something that tells me where all the red coins, and flowers are on all levels.
I'm at work and it's got every damn game site locked. So don't send me a link.
Someone will have to copy paste it, or something to that liking.
I'd greatly appreciate it, and will give this person a very uncomfortable hug for doing it for me.

Ha! My company is only on 2000. (sorry, a dig about the effectiveness of our IT department -- when 2003 was already the version to install (b/c it had been out for a year, and it was all that Microsoft wanted to support), they went with 2000).

I checked out ACT's website. the demo looked pretty cool. but does it rely on being your email client, also? like, in order to use outlook as your calendar and scheduler, it decides it wants to be your email client too.

I don't know anything about Lotus. Is it just calendar software? I googled it, and kept finding Lotus vs. Exchange 2003, which really didn't help. and IBM's oh-so-helpful website doesn't have a demo (i can download a trial though).

Iunno, I've never used Money... I'm a Quicken guy myself. But I'm just looking for something that polls the Exchange server at work, runs in the background, and lets me know about new meetings or reminds me of events.

just a cursory glance at incredimail, that just looks like another email client, but with graphics and sounds and other things that just show up to me as file attachments.

[quote]Posted: Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 1:12 pm EDT
Does the makers of Incredimail have anything? My dad got some freeware from a PC magazine that had some cool XP stuff. It was things the PC mag people put together as their predictions of what would be on the new XP. I'm not sure magazine it was. I'll find out in a bit though. Does Money have something you can use maybe?

Hey guys,
I'm looking for some WinXP calendar software, and I was wondering if maybe you guys knew of something. I can't use Outlook, but I need something that can interact with a Microsoft Exchange server to get meeting notices and other things. I'd also prefer that it runs (at least in part) as a Windows service.

I'd be happy with something that can get the email meeting notifications from Exchange, and notify me when it's time. Obviously, being able to manually ad events, too.

I've googled the hell out of the word "calendar". Found some cool stuff, but nothing calendar-related...Smile

Do any of you know of anything?
