I changed my mind. I'm going to get this instead of the TV. I'm sure Star won't mind. I'll post it on here when I get done in a couple of months.

Reign of the Fallen is a fan film I downloaded from theforce.net. I have to say I'm impressed. A Star Wars movie with good direction, cinematography, music, even acting. The props and special effects are all up to Hollywood standards as well. You guys may think the force has wained from Lucas but it is strong in his fans.

Rick McCallum, co-producer of the Star Wars prequel trilogy, appeared at a press conference in Japan earlier today. He spoke about the future of Star Wars, specifically about the 3D updates of all six films and the upcoming TV series. McCallum said that the 3D films would be released within two to three years, and that the TV shows would take place during the 20 year time period between Episode III and IV. He also mentioned that one of the shows would follow the adventures of a young Luke Skywalker, and reveal how certain characters ended up together. The show starts production next year."interesting |

Episode III was sweet. Definitely the best of the 3. Speilberg, while not actually directing the movie, had his hand in this film, and you can see it too. Lucas and Speilberg are very different people when it comes to directing. Awesome movie. Go see it in a DIGITAL THEATRE!!!!! THX REQUIRED!!!!! We watched it in the non digital theatre, and the sound sucked ass. Star Wars.com has a list of all theatres that have Episode III playing in digital.Spoiler Alert! I read about Anakin killing the Younglings scene, but when I actually saw it, it hit me hard. It was so weird too. I knew it was coming, but it was a lot more powerful than I expected. It got a gasp out of Starletz.

Okay, episode 3 was pretty good. Chains, Darth Vadar IS evil. I have a question though. In the originals isn't OB1 dead? I guess I must of missed something...maybe someone can fill me in.

I think I'll go in the original order and start them off with IV. Otherwise, they don't get the startling revelation about Vader being Luke's father that the rest of us had.

This is where the positive stuff goes. Discuss anything Star Wars. You know me and my collection addiction. Anything numbered, I try to collect. Well the Topps Revenge of the Sith cards pulled me in, and the Batman cards will get me too when it comes out. Anyway, back with Star Wars. I'm collecting the cards and am thinking about buying the Sketch cards from Ebay. Artists sketch on 100s of cards for the set and they are randomly inserted. I think the odds are 1 per box, or 1:36. I think there are 36 in there. Anyway. Really cool cards. Very revealing. Question: Your kids are going to grow up, and at some point you are going to pop in Star Wars for them. The question is which will you put in first? IV-VI? Or I-III? I think I'm going to start Hunter off with IV-VI, then I-III. Have the same experience as all of us. What about you guys? |
