You won't need a passport to enter Canada; but you will need your passport to re-enter the US, if you're flying. However, if you travel via car or boat, you won't need a passport to re-enter until 2008.

However, it is strongly recommended to have your travel papers anyway, b/c the US border patrol has been known to flip people shit for no reason without them. They can deny citizens re-entry on a whim; but having a passport (unless it's flagged) will get you back in.

I was in Vancouver last February, and all I needed was my birth certificate (the certified copy with the raised seal). But that changed this year.

Also, bear in mind that new passports have a tracking RFID chip in them. So if you go somewhere like Canada or Mexico, and then go to somewhere like Cuba, you can't just rip the page out anymore -- they'll still know where you've been. However, there are countless tutorials on teh Interwebs showing you how to identify the chip, read what it says, and smash it.

I know they used to be pretty lax about having a passport. All my trips to Canada (British Columbia) were pre-9/11 though. Even then they highly encouraged you to have passports. I'm fairly certain they require them now. Is this your first trip to Canada? I thought it was a beautiful country. The people are fun to observe, too! They're almost just like Americans, but somehow a little off. Not enough you'd really notice unless you're looking for it, but enough to be a little creepy if you do. Not monster-creepy, mind you, but more like those red-headed twin girls from "the shining" kind of creepy. Smile

Hey guys, has anyone been to Canada? I am going to Leamington, Ontario, flying into DTW Airport in Detroit. I was going to rent a car and just drive to my hotel, since it's an hour or less away, but I have to cross the Canada bridge. Does anyone know if I have to have my passport? I have checked a couple of links that say not necessarily, but I don't want to get over there and get stuck there with all the moose. Thanks!!

Does Evan still play with that tiny one we got him for his birthday? Hunter has the Dragon one and a couple of the others Chains listed, I would have to say the best is the Dragon one, we found it at Target. There are a few at Toys R Us too. The Dragon one has little trap doors for the cars and stuff like that, it's pretty keww.
I bought some clothes for Evan for Christmas, I was going to get him a little toy too so just lemme have a few ideas. I don't want to do a repeat of last Christmas and get him something he already has. Wink

For the Provdr's Web I was thinking a logo or just an accompanying picture of a computer as the body of a spider, and the legs as the network cables. Have the web attached to generic items like music stores, games, business something.

Quade, you forgot to link the quiz...

[quote]Posted: Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 1:16 pm EDT
You could also take the Web2.0 approach, and make up a silly word (and alternately, misspell and remove consonants from ordinary words). Something like Flickr, Meebo, Joomla, Drupal...

And take this quiz to put you in the naming mood.

So, along those lines: Providr, ArkWebbo, ArkaTech (heh, that's kinda cool, and WebArkaTech[dot]com is available).

I was hoping to get some pictures made a couple of times this year, I had some specific ones in mind. In later March, right before baby Anderson comes, and if I can convince Pooh, I was going to get some pictures of me and Hunter (and the giant belly) and me and Jesse (and the giant belly). I always wanted to do those with Hunter, but by the time I had any money for it the little turkey was already outside!!! I also wanted some Easter ones of the baby and Hunter, there are a few photog places around here that have live lambs and baby chicks or rabbits to pose with. If you have any other ideas Nil, about what would look good let me know. Wink

this is to add to the previous post! Nil, you should offer packages that lets Jana do hair and makeup and maybe outfits. Not necessarily clothes but maybe drapes and fabric (like that lady in the U2 video). I think she would be really good at it. Plus, it would then be a REAL family business!

1. Mininova
2. www.prq.to/" target="_blank">The Pirate Bay

5. Torrentz

Although, these are the top 5 biggest that are still remaining. Torrent sites are getting shut down left and right, as bitTorrent is really easy to trace.

Hey people, I need some help if you have the time.

I have started a photography studio (2 years in the making now); and as I have been getting more customers I am trying to find a better way to give my customers their photos.
I have found this site that has exactly what I'm looking for, but they are a 3rd party. I dont want to have to pay there markup if I can avoid it.

Sooo I need help finding stuff like this from somewhere cheaper.

Hey guys. The family is moving to bigger and better things.....down the street. My mother-in-law will be moving in with us to babysit Gabie and the baby, and to help around anyway she can. We are moving from
a 2 bedroom to a 4 bedroom. Extra rooms for the mother-in-law and the new arrival next Spring. We will need some help moving. We'll have a 17' truck, and me. That's about it. Gabie and her mother won't be able to help much with the big stuff, so I'm depending on myself. I think I can do it as long as I can fit the strap on the appliance dolly around a couch. If not, well, it'll be tougher. Obviously I'm just talking to Edge, cause the others are too far out of town, and I think the Jones's are on vacation. When is this big move? This weekend!!! YIKES!!!! I won't have the truck till 6PM Saturday. So that's when the help will be needed. I'll be asking others too.Smile
