Hey, I have some friends that are looking to go up to springfield this weekend, and they were wondering where might be a good place to go and watch a band play. Anyone got any suggestions?

Shotgun Dan's Pizza is one of my favorites. I like the Big Dan. (several locations)
Georgia's in Lakewood Village has pretty good Gyros's.
Shorty Smalls has good "cheese logs"
Boscos is a neat brewpub with good gourmet pizzas (rivermarket)
Cock of the walk (catfish & chicken) is a neat place (maumelle)

Wages and Jones (and anyone else in NWA). Buffalo Wild Wings. Saturday night.

If Rogers, I'll pick Wages up.
If Fayetteville, I'll pick Jones up.

If getting plastered is the plan, I'll pick both up. I suggest between 7PM-8PM. Let me know here, or at Gabie's cell.

He's getting that tomorrow, except instead of Transformers it's a bike and a couple of Hot Wheels playsets. I think the birthday was more of an excuse for his parents to have friends over. Wink

**edit to add, Hunter's birthday is actually the 21st, that's why he's getting presents tomorrow.**

Ok, it looks like the baby shower is Feb. 11th. I got addresses off of the directory so invites should be coming in the mail in the next couple of weeks or so. This post is more for the guys though, strangely enough. Pooh and Hunter are going to chill here (or elsewhere, they aren't for sure yet) but those guys left behind with kids(example Del) or without (example Edge) can get together with Pooh and see if you all want to get together and do something. (Assuming Dre's coming to the shower, I hope I hope!!)
Del and Edge--we ran into Sam and Lael at the movies the other night and Lael's coming, so it looks like Sam may come with Ian to a "guy and kid" get-together. Just lemme know if you guys have any ideas?? Everyone's welcome to come over here, there's lotsa toys for the kid's occupation, and we have satellite and Xbox for the BIGGER boys.

Hey guys. Sorry for the late reply. We got tired of paying $150+ to Cox, so we got satellite. Luckily the house was already hooked up for it. What would of taken the dish guy 6 hours only took about an hour and a half. So anyway, long story short, we are without internet till we decide what we want to do for internet. I'm looking to see if I can somehow merge my internet with my phone. Maybe save even more money. Maybe there is a VoIP solution to the matter.

Anyway. The reason for this email is to let you all know that we will be having a girl on the 9th of April. Both Gabie and I had a feeling it was a girl, and the more I looked at girl stuff (barbies and such), the more I wanted a girl. The doctor said he's been wrong only 5 times in fifteen years, so we are pretty confident it's going to be a girl. Even though I've had dreams that it was a boy.Raspberry

Pooh forgot to say that his sister is bringing drinks, non-alco ones, and a dessert.
I have pregnant brain and forgot totally to buy any beer whatsoever.
If you guys could bring some that would be most greatly appreciated. And we do have wine glasses this time and a corkscrew for ya Dre. Wink
As an added treat for tomorrow, we will have sonogram pics and the gender of the baby will be announced!! WOOHOO!! I'm excited!! For those of you that can't come or live further away, we will get the pic scanned and post it this weekend at some point, but at least I will get on here tomorrow and post the gender for those of you that are curious!! YAY!!Smile

This message is for the ones coming tomorrow evening. I know it's late notice, but plan on eating at our place tonight.
I forgot that my sister and brother-in-law were coming too, so we will make it a sort of get together. I'll be grilling burgers and hotdogs. We've got tea, milk, juice, and water to drink, so if you want something else, bring it. Del and Dre are the main ones I'm talking to, but others are invited if you are in town. I've got 24+ burgers to cook, so there will be plenty of food. Call me if you'd like to come. The numbers in the directory. Gabie will call the Jones's tomorrow to make sure we are all still a go.Smile
