Today SBC no longer exists, in its stead we have the New AT&T. SBC, in case you had not already heard, purchased AT&T, and has been going through Merger negotiations for most of the year. Today they announced that we are now officially know as AT&T. I say we here because I currently work for SBC/AT&T, but all that will officially change Dec 1; at which point I will be employed by IBM whom SBC outsourced all of its internal desktop support to. Those of you using SBC may be wondering what all this means for you. Well from the looks of it, not much... yet. You will be paying AT&T instead of SBC Also with AT&T's network, SBC is putting itself in a better position to launch several new products in the coming months. AT&T's goal is to be the only telecommunications and entertainment company you will ever need; and I'm not referring to dish network for entertainment. Soo in long/short I would really like to just say good bye to SBC and thank them for all the things they brought us. damn
