I don't think he is, but I think he's on the island for a reason though. That whole ordeal at the end with "If I was an Other" thing? Imagine if you didn't know of the drama of Lost and you were watching this episode for the first time. I don't think you'd notice anything fishy with what he said. Henry is ignorant with what's going on on the island, so his attitude towards the whole thing is somewhat understandable.

And like you said, he could of easily taken the identity of the true ballooner. Here's something interesting too...Remember that guy who travels around the world in a balloon and sets records? Check out this site. Scroll down to "What are the specifics of the balloon itself?"

Quote:
1998 flight - containing 550,000 cubic feet of helium, as opposed to 450,000 cubic feet before, and it contains 100,000 cubic feet of hot air. The balloon envelope is 140 feet tall and 60 feet wide.

Now lets look at a quote from Henry Gale of the dimensions of his balloon (One Of Them script)

Quote:
GALE: She's 140 feet high, 60 feet wide. And when she's up in the air 550,000 thousand cubic feet of helium and a 100,000 thousand of hot air keep her up. And if you could look down on her you'd see a big yellow smiley face on top.

so is dudeman an other? the dummy was like, "if i wanted to kill them, this is what i'd do"

the previews showed a balloon, though. the guy could have made that up though, cause the others would have obviously known about that.

Great episode. I don't know if it's cause I'm half Korean or what, but I love the Jin & Sun flashbacks.

WARNING...Clicking on this thread, I am assuming that you have watched the episode, so if you haven't, LEAVE NOW!!!!

An interesting thing to note is the company that made the pregnancy test was Widmore Labs. In Fire & Water (2x12), Charlie was filming a diaper commercial. After the commercial the crew heads outside and you can see a building in the background. This building had a sign on it reading "Widmore Construction". In one of the podcasts, the creators have said to watch the episode for an Easter Egg, and on it was a sign that will come up again in the show. The easter egg was the building. It was the same building that is on the cover of Pink Floyd's Animals album. So in future watchings of Lost, keep Widmore in your mind.
