Sorry. Hunter wore us out last night.

Court jester is the name that I strongly prefer,
but any others would do, I'd be happy to concur.
A fool you say? This riddle you have flattened.
I AM the bag of wind, or a fool or follis in Latin.
A cap with tails and bells? What a colorful display!!
It's the ears and tails of donkeys in the early days.

The seafaring fella that was giving you hell?
What things can jingle? How bout a bell?
Seafaring fella? Captain, perhaps?
Let put it together, let us recap.
Captain Bells he be!!! A pirate!! ARRRR!!!
Cap n' Bells is what I wear, so we are off to the bazaar.

The first item on our list is what all riddlers need.
I'll give you three clues that you'll solve to proceed.
It can be part of what frightened children can claim,
or it's the odd child out in a popular circular game.
For the final clue , it's could be worth less than a penny,
but have some of these, and supply item one for many.

Our second item is of the magical kind.
Without it we might as well be blind.
With this item we can see all of the land,
but it's small enough to fit the palm of my hand.

Our third little item is another magical wonder.
Producing rain when you feel the coming thunder.
As old as the cavemen, it is said they used this tool.
It can be found in your house, but more likely in school.
It makes mountains peak with a wave of the hand.
It conducts a symphony or leads a marching band.

Laughter you say? Well you are partly correct.
But who provides it? It's the answer I expect.
"Bag of wind" means more than a hearty guffaw.
I was also a key to Hippocrates law.

Let's see how long it takes for this thread to die.Raspberry

Welcome to my, with hope, ongoing thread.
Where answering riddles will get you ahead.
Our journey will take us to mysterious lands afar,
but our first stop will be to the local bazaar.

"Who are you?", you ask with great wonder in your heart?
I answer, "What a perfect time for our riddling to start!!!"

Many say I've got the best remedy for what makes you ill.
A bag of wind is all you need to thwart a medical bill.
On my head, you could say, I wear the parts of an ass,
or it can also be the jingling man of a seafaring class.

Who am I, I ask all you riddling buffs.
More hints I will give you if it proves too tough.
We shall continue on our journey once this riddle is solved.
To make this quest more exciting get more riddlers involved.
