Yoda Del sounds like.Wink

Anyway, Lost did the same thing, got on some other story line with the Others, and it went slowly downhill from there. NOOOO Heroes!!! Don't go the same way!! Next thing you know we'll all be seeing commercials on TV for that paper company that horn rimmed glasses guy worked for. GeezWhatever

Spoiler Alert!
Oh and by the way, I will go ahead and call it now, Miguel will eventually die because he undoes Mayas ability.

Spoiler Alert!
Oh and further more, Maya needs to be around Syler when she does that crap. That would make that story line useful. ALSO--enough with the damn Hiro back in feudal Japan. It's getting old already. Ok enough ranting, sorry.Wink

Maya/Alejandro I care for not.

I expect they are just using that to fill time and will be a small piece of the bigger puzzle but I don't give a crap. It is taking too long to get to the point.

Finally saw an episode of Chuck, not bad.
Life is pretty good.

Is it just me or does it seem that Heroes can't go more than 6 minutes without a 3 minute commercial break.
Also, am I the only one who could care less about the Maya/Alejandro story line?

Damn, I knew I was forgetting something.

Reaper - Another great show. It's funny, and entertaining. Like Chains says though, we will see how episode 2 goes. It looks to be a 'monster of the week' type show. I'll dig it if it is.

Alien's in America - Saw this last night. It looks to be a hilarious version of Wonder Years. That's the only way I can describe it.

Chuck - Great show. Did anyone happen to catch the Lost reference in it? Definitely something to get any Lost fan in mental ruckus. This week showed a kind of mother/father relationship Chuck has with his bodyguards.

Journeyman - First episode was a little busy. The show is EXACTLY like Quantum Leap...well except he's a completely different guy and not replacing someone from the past, and doesn't have Ziggy trying to figure out why he's in the past. Well, it's a decent show. Let's hope the mysteries keeps everyone intrigued enough for NBC to pick it up full time.

Cane - Great looking drama. It's not my flavor of entertainment though. Cane reminds me alot of Damages on F/X. I've only seen the first episode of Cane, but it looks like a show that will have plenty of twists and turns to keep us interested.

Moonlight - Beauty and the Beast. Phantom of the Opera. Yeah. It's a fantasy chick show. I'll watch one more just to make sure, but I don't think it's something I will enjoy.

Kid Nation - Cool show. I kinda have the same inklings as my dad. Seems like they put a couple of kid actors(coughMichaelcough)in there to keep the show moving forward.

If anyone happened to catch LIFE, I'd like to know how the premiere was. I had one person tell me it was awesome.

Last night I watched Private Practice, Kid Nation & Dirty Sexy Money. DVRed Bionic Woman, haven't seen it yet. They were all pretty good, evan liked watching kid nation with us. Dirty Sexy Money is just one of those type of shows without a real main plot like lost or heroes but the characters were interesting. The writing and acting was pretty good too.

WHY?

Because they decided to have their stupid ass debate on NBC at 8pm on a Monday. AKA time slot for 'Heroes'. I am going to write KY3's General Manager and let him know how fucking retarded he is. Please join in.

Heroes

Just amazing!!!! This show is better than I expected. Ordinary people, come to realize that they are extraordinary. A boy believes he can fly. A girl rejuvenates, and is just about invincible. A Japanese man who can minipulate time. The pilot introduced a few of the characters (including an apparent villain), and possibly even a Hero leader. Unfortunately it ended in a 'to be continued'. Anyway. They will be encoring it so check your listings so that you can catch it if you missed it this go around.

Six Degrees
Story is of how 6 complete strangers can still be connected.
Mae - a troubled woman who appears to always be on the run. Running from something or someone from the past
Carlos - Where our story starts. A public defender who believes in love at first site. Spends the episode finding the woman he helped out of jail. Mae.
Laura - A widow with a daughter that is having a hard time dealing with the loss of her husband who was a reporter in Iraq.
Damien - A high dollar taxi driver who is trying to get away from his gambling past, and his bad influencial brother.
Whitney - A recently promoted PR exec. who is trying to figure out if her boyfriend/fiance is loyal.
Steven - A has been photographer that went on a downward spiral into drugs. Currently trying to get his life back in order, and start anew with his passion for photography, and maybe try to win his family back.

This was definitely different than I expected it. I thought it would be more fast paced, but it wasn't. I liked it, but I can't decide if it's something I'll enjoy. The characters stories are intriguing and at the end of the episode, I actually wanted to know what was going to happen with ALL the characters. But again, this is not my kind of show. It was entertaining, I guess is the word. I'm going to watch another episode to see if they can stick with the six degrees format, and make sure the pilot wasn't just a gimmick to sell the show.

Jericho
Jericho appears to be a post apocalyptic show from the point of view of a small town in Kansas. No one there knows what's going on considering the TVs, radios, and phones are out. They have to rely on their HAM radios for local communications.
I liked the pilot. I kept my attention to the end. There were a few run of the mill post apocalyptic panic that was getting a little redundant, but enough of the other intense events going on that kept me interested. I'm looking forward to seeing this all pan out, and I hope it doesn't get cancelled prematurely.

Smith
This show is about a group of thieves. The show balances their heist and their 'home' life. I'm not sure what the shows format will be, but I'm guessing each episode will be the drama of a single thief mixed in with the weekly heist. The pilot follows Bobby (Ray Liota) as he constructs the heist of some priceless paintings, and to steal a line from Quantum Leap, hoping the next heist will be his last...ok, not so much Quantum Leap, but you know what I mean. He's a husband and father, and wants to quit the business, and if you've seen any other theif/assassin movie you know quitting the business is difficult.
The pilot was a little slow for me. The heist was empty. So the 'drama' wasn't there for me. You have a bunch of bad guys that the pilot failed to get us attached to. So the payoff they wanted at the end, just didn't happen. I didn't care. I guess this show could have some potential. It could have been an Oceans 11 TV series, but the characters are too criminal for you to really give a crap about them. The heist was just, "You distract this guy, you distract that guy, and we'll get the paintings." Not very clever at all. I'll give it a few more shots before it gets cancelled, I guess.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
Think of this show as SNL:Behind the Scenes. The show starts off with a crisis of the executive producer having a meltdown during one of the skits...on camera...live. Kinda like the movie Network, as the show also refers the incident to. Also happening during this day is Jordan's (Amanda Peet) first day as the network (NBS) president. While the other network execs see crisis, Jordan sees opportunity. She goes back to when Studio 60 was funny and hires Matt (Matthew Perry) and Danny (Bradley Whitford). Matt was a writer for the show 4 years prior and left because of a squabble with the execs. Danny is a director that is on hold directing because of a recent drug charge. Add in some more drama, and you've got Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
I've never seen any of Sorkin's other shows (The West Wing) so this is the first for me. I liked it. I can definitely see why it's a favorite among viewers, critics, and media alike. I hate Matthew Perry, because everything I've seen him in was just Chandler doing different things. Studio 60 is different. His character is great and a second favorite for me (Jordan being my first). His relationship with Danny is great. I'm interested to see how they will keep the drama alive as the show unfolds, being as I've never seen a drama like this before. Let's hope they encore this one so the ones that didn't get to catch it, will get to catch it the second go around.
