If I remember correctly, as it was so many years ago, it was myself, Mark, Chris, and, I want to say, Ed. I think we all decided to make a quick stop at Jack's to pick up a deck before we went to Wild River Country. Was this the incident when Mark lost his wallet at WRC?Anyhow, we all found it hysterical about this tubby guy who came in and salivated all over the Dark booster packs.

The Hallelujah joke... well not really a joke per se.. I'm not sure who all was there, but back when we first started playing magic many years ago, I believe it was Jon that was in line for a new release of "The Dark", when a really heavy set man got his hands on a case of cards he exclaimed with much enjoyment, "The Dark Hallelujah!!" Well of coarse he has forever been the but of many jokes and that incident written into the group history, passed on from member to member. Now at the time of this happening, I *think* I was a senior in HS, Quade would have been twice removed and not really hanging out with the group that much since he had his hands full with college (girls)... and Adam, well he had already made the grand exodus from Penicle and the group... So who ever it is, knows enough about group lore, but I believe has the timeline confused, weather purposely or not.. |
