I think he failed a saving throw. 70 is old but it isn't really that old these days.

So what was it, powerword kill, failed save vs. death, or just plain ol' ran outta HP?

Wizards just wants the next generation of geeks to stay with the curve. Prior geek habits are starting to become trendy so we gotta keep our people in their place. Before it was basic math and some algebra soon you will need to know astrophysics and calculus to know if you hit the goblin or not, and spells will effect things at the quantum level.

I still don't see what was wrong with Basic Edition. I mean, everything you needed was in the box -- the dice, the books, everything. And the rules weren't hard to memorize.

If it's anything like Vista I will burn all my 3rd ed stuff, and go get it. seeing as I have used Vista for about 1.25 years and given the choice I would never install xp on a machine again. was weird too, I didn't even need new hardwarebut I doubt it is that cool so I will stick with 3.5 |

This video looks so cool... Well, to me, anyway. If it allows us to have tabletop games online so that the whole group can be there, then hell yeah, I'll pick it up!
